Book Review: 'What's your Story: facts tell, stories sell' by Sankalp Kohli

Publisher: General Press

Published: October 2015

Book Title: What’s Your Story

Author: Sankalp Kohli

I guarantee you that after you read this book you will realize that you are a storyteller and that you too can write. What you basically require is to give meaning to your thoughts, have the belief that you too can tell a story and most of it all flaunt your imagination.

The book gives a ride through what a story is and some techniques that everyone of us use to tell stories without even knowing it. The author has skimmed for us the way we remember an event and that is how he says we ought to write making it appealing to our readers and leave a lasting impression.

The book is clean without errors. I had a joyful ride through and learnt that I too was telling stories many times when even I wasn’t aware.

The only flaw is that it is an e-book, should it make into prints I think many would approach storytelling as nothing alien but their very own task.
