Poem: Fabulous Ambience
Updated: Jul 14, 2019
Amidst the chirping birds
The shepherd guarding the herd
The dragonflies making
Their deepest flight
The rays of the sun peeping through.
New twigs smiling at me,
Fragrance of roses provides
For clean and enlivening breath.
The trees decide to speak
Language unknown to mankind.
A guess they might be thanking God.
Squirrels begin hide and seek
Butterflies fly out
Of the cocoon
Children back again kicking the football.
Aplenty happened when showers ceased,
It was a pleasing ambience that pleased.
